Key Summary: Rejuran (PN, salmon-derived), Juvelook (PDLLA + HA, synthetic), and Re2O (human ECM) are not competing versions of the same treatment. They put different materials into your skin and ask it to do different work. No head-to-head trial exists between them — anyone ranking them is describing marketing sequence, not evidence.

That last row is the one most people miss. We'll come back to it.
PharmaResearch describes PN as a tissue repair stimulator. Once injected, polynucleotides act as a repair signal inside the skin — attracting water to hydrate tissue and creating an environment for skin cells to regenerate, while supporting fibroblasts, the cells that produce collagen and elastin.
The company describes PN and PDRN as regenerative medicine raw materials composed of DNA fragments isolated from salmon sperm cells, with PN having a longer nucleic acid chain than PDRN.
The logic: your cells are capable — they just need to be told.
Per the manufacturer's line-up: Rejuran Healer for general texture and elasticity, Rejuran HB+ for hydration-focused indications, Rejuran I for the periorbital area at lower concentration with a finer needle.
VAIM positions Juvelook as a hybrid: the HA component delivers immediate hydration and radiance, while collagen stimulated by the PDLLA develops gradually over the following weeks.
The particle design is the notable part. VAIM patented a PDLLA manufacturing process producing a porous, reticular mesh microparticle structure — a design the company says maximises surface area for collagen induction while minimising the nodule risk historically associated with polylactic acid injectables. Unlike PLLA's crystalline particles, which can trigger granulomas if injected imprecisely, PDLLA uses amorphous round particles.
The logic: provoke the skin carefully, and it rebuilds. The result comes from the reaction, not the material.
Re2O neither signals nor provokes. It places human extracellular matrix into the dermis.
Per the Yonsei University clinical paper (Int J Mol Sci 2026;27(5):2193), composition is approximately 80% collagen, 3% elastin, 0.4% sGAG, with residual DNA under 50 ng/mg. Electron microscopy confirmed that after micronisation, collagen fibril alignment and the characteristic D-banding pattern were preserved — the ECM architecture survived being turned into particles.
